Google has partnered with GOMYCODE to introduce an 11-week “Build with AI” programme, designed to equip 1,000 developers across Nigeria with advanced generative AI skills, including the use of Gemini and hands-on mentorship from Google experts.
The initiative aims to spark innovation in high-impact sectors such as fintech, healthtech, and agritech, positioning Nigerian developers to build solutions that are both locally relevant and globally competitive. The course combines in-person instruction and lab sessions at GOMYCODE’s hackerspaces, ensuring practical, real-world skill development.
Applications are now open to developers nationwide, with the programme concluding in a demo day where participants will pitch their AI-powered projects to Google and industry leaders. Interested developers can apply via bit.ly/BwAIDevTraining.
