In a bid to enhance safety and accountability on its platform, leading e-hailing company, Bolt Nigeria, has launched a dashcam service for drivers across the country.
The initiative, described as the first of its kind in Nigeria, is in partnership with Driver Technologies, a global dashcam and safety technology provider. The service, integrated into the Bolt app, enables drivers to convert their smartphones into both forward-facing exterior and driver-facing interior cameras, with all recordings securely backed up to the cloud.
Bolt says the service will be offered at a 75% discounted rate of N4,810 per month, marking a significant investment in driver and passenger safety nationwide.
