E-commerce giant Jumia has reported a 25% year-on-year revenue increase, hitting $45.6 million in Q2 2025, according to its latest financial results. The impressive boost is largely attributed to strong market performance in Nigeria, the company's largest and most active market on the continent.

Alongside the revenue growth, Jumia also cut its operating loss by 18%, bringing it down from $20.1 million in Q2 2024 to $16.5 million in the same period this year. This signals an ongoing effort by the company to streamline operations and focus on profitability.

The company’s Q2 momentum reflects improving consumer confidence, better logistics, and a surge in online shopping—particularly within Nigeria’s urban centres.
