The Fintech Association of Nigeria (FintechNGR) has confirmed that Nigeria Fintech Week 2025 will take place in Lagos, expanding its scope beyond pure tech to embrace finance, regulation, media, and policy stakeholders. Announced at a press briefing on July 23, 2025, the event, under the theme "The Fintech Ecosystem Symphony: Orchestrating Nigeria’s Digital Future", signals maturity in Nigeria’s digital finance ecosystem and reflects growing collaboration across sectors.

Over four transformative days, the event aims to bring together not just developers and startups, but economists, compliance officers, media houses, and government representatives—creating space for deeper conversations on how fintech connects with AfCFTA implementation, embedded finance, AI-driven loan models, and open banking as part of Nigeria’s broader economic ambitions. Dr. Stanley Jacob (CEO, Zest Payments & FintechNGR President) emphasized that “every stakeholder plays an instrument in this ecosystem symphony,” highlighting a focus on integration, policy alignment, and strategic growth.

With local startups expected to pitch ideas, forge partnerships, and access investors, Fintech Week represents a prime opportunity to accelerate Nigeria’s position as a regional fintech leader. The event also aligns with NITDA’s strategic roadmap and reinforces Nigeria’s drive toward inclusive economic transformation through digital finance collaboration.
