Ebi Robert’s Debut Novel, “The Creed Of The Oracles” Unveiled At Yenagoa

Ebi Robert’s debut novel, “The Creed of the Oracles” has finally been presented to the general public. The unveiling of the book which was held on the 11th day of December, 2022, was graced by lovers of literature. 

 

The event featured a panel session with the topic, “Worldbuilding in Phantasm and the African Writer’s Literary Right to create Foreign-Like Scenes”. The panellists include: K. Ceres Wright (USA), Dr. Sophia Obi (Nigeria), Zadok Kwame Gyesi (Ghana), Dr. Ikiemonye Iniamagha (Nigeria), Dennis Casey IV (USA), Tessy Ebi Tuebi (Nigeria), and Scott Thomas Outlar (USA). 

 


The event also featured poetry presentation and other interesting activities that spiced up the gathering. Spec-fic writer, Hannah Onoguwe, gave an impressive and well written review of the book which will be published soonest.

 

The author, Ebi Robert was overwhelmed by the attendance and show of love from the attendance. Reacting on his Facebook page, he wrote thus: 

 

The Creed of the Oracles has finally been presented to the general public. The attendance was massive. The hall was full to capacity. At a point, I was even scared whether some persons may end up standing. The love was strong, and I thank the Almighty God for that.

 

I want to specially thank Chief Seiyefa Koroye (Chairman, Bayelsa State Library Board) Prof. Solomon T. Ebobrah (Former Dean, Faculty of Law, Niger Delta University); Frank Nabena Esq., (Principal, FBA Nabena & Co); U. Saiyou Esq., (Chairman, NBA Yenagoa); Felix T. Okorotei Esq (Former NBA Chairman); Ebinyu George Aderigha Esq (Former Chairman, NBA Sagbama Branch); Engr. Emmanuel Frank Opigo (Former Chairman ANA Bayelsa), Doc Ayibanua, etc. You are all instrumental to the success of the launch.
