Former Speaker, Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Tonye Emmanuel Isenah has cleared the bad air via social media, over his arrest rumor going round.
Hon. Tonye Emmanuel Isenah made this post public on Sunday, 9th January, 2022; saying, he was involved in a movie scene and the producer appreciated him so well because, it saved him lots of cost compared to hiring a veteran actor.
He said thus;
"Good morning dear friends. I know this caused a great scare yesterday and the social media boiled. I even saw a whole lots of arguments, attack and counter attacks. Well it was expected. I even read about a guy went to dig a whole lot about me ( he intended to be negative), with so much wrong informations, is laughable.
"Well, just to say this: I'm an extrovert and if you are an introvert, don't expect me to be you and i also i don't expect you to be me. Its my nature that i get noticed in the midst of the crowed, sometimes knowingly and other times unknowingly, not my fault, just my nature.
"I searched through my oath of office, through the Nigerian constitution, I did not see what barred me from expressing my potentials, especially when it never cost anything. I did what i did to help a young Bayelsan to grow. Imagine what it could have cost him to bring a grade A or B actor to play the role.
"My singular involvement took a huge cost of production off him and he sounded so grateful for it. I always say, its good to be part of someone's success story, and that's me. If the little things i do to help our young Bayelsans to showcase their talents and get a better life is a crime, then I'm guilty as charged, your aspersions won't stop me.
"I appreciate all the positive comments, encouragements, love and support. Thank you all. God bless the creative industry in Bayelsa, God bless our dear State, and God bless Nigeria".
