Special Reading Session To Hold In Honour Jamaican Born, Bayelsan Poet, Lindsay Barrett

Mr. Thomas Peretu's Bayelsa Poetry Club in collaboration with Seaview Poetry Club is set to host a special reading session in honour of Jamaican born Bayelsa Poet, Lindsay Barrett. 


The event which is to hold at the NUJ Secretariat in Bayelsa State, is expected to be graced by literary figures and other poets from the Niger Delta Region. 


In the general notice signed by Ebi Robert, Co-Organizer of the event, it is stated that Chairman of the Bayelsa State Library board, Seiyifa Koroye, shall be speaking on the theme as the keynote speaker.

INVITATION TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC 


Poets, lovers of literature, and the general public are hereby invited to a special reading session for the Jamaican born, Bayelsan poet, Lindsay Barrett. 


Keynote Speaker: High Chief. Seiyifa Koroye,

Chairman, Bayelsa State Library Board,


Theme: Liberating The Library, 

(a poem in  Lindsay Barrett's poetry collection, 'Visiting Eternity'). 


Date: Sunday, 11th October, 2020.


Venue: NUJ Secretariat, Azikoro Road, Ekeki, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
