YLF Yenagoa Branch Executive Pays Familiarization/Courtesy Visit To Wodu Kemasuode, SAN

Today, the 28th day of January, 2022, the proactive  and committed Chairman, YLF Yenagoa Branch, D.O.S Abila, Esq, once again led the train of few YLF Executives on a familiarisation/courtesy visit to the office of the newly conferred learned Silk, Wodu Kemasuode, SAN, Former A.G, Bayelsa State and Principal Partner of Kemasuode Wodu & Associates (KWA), who in league with other Counsel in chambers gracefully received the Executives.

The Chairman, YLF Yenagoa Branch firstly congratulated once more the learned Silk for his recent elevation and conferment, further adding that this position is well deserved following the many legacies/impacts/positive contributions orchestrated by the learned SAN to the legal profession.

The Chairman YLF Yenagoa Branch went further to introduce the members of the YLF Yenagoa Branch Excos present for recognition and also outlined in details the activities of the YLF to run for the calendar year 2022.

The Chairman, YLF Yenagoa Branch ended his presentation by stating that the purpose of the visit is to avail and submit the YLF Yenagoa Branch's leadership to the timely wisdoms and guidance of the SAN, as true and successful leadership can only be replicated by those who follows closely those who have succeeded in that aspect.

In response to the speech of the Chairman, YLF Yenagoa Branch, the free spirited and humble learned SAN applauded the vibrancy of Executives and stated that he sees the YLF Yenagoa Branch administration as a training ground for leadership and urged the Excos to submit themselves to the said training in order to build the requisite capacities required for relevancy and impact.

The Learned Silk further stated that the legal profession is in dire need of reformation sequel to the many unaddressed issues short-circuiting the known prestige and high esteem of the legal profession, and urged the Young Lawyers to be the vehicles for the positive reformation needed in the legal profession.

The forum then appreciated the learned Silk for his indulgence. The press statement was signed by the D.O. Abila, Esq., Ebi Robert Esq., and Joseph Ayebanua Richard Esq., who are the Chairman, Secretary and Publicity Secretary respectively.
