The Hon. Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Bayelsa State, Biriyai Dambo, SAN, has sent out a congratulatory message to Kemasuode Wodu, Esq.,. who was recently elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
The learned silk who spoke on the significance of the privilege of the rank, also poured out some eulogies to the former Attorney-General, saying that Mr. Wodu is a courageous dedicated and focused lawyer. He also stressed that this is a well deserved elevation and it is an acknowledgement of Wodu's laudable contributions to the development of the legal profession in Nigeria.
"On behalf of the Solicitor-General and Permanent Ministry of Justice, Preye Agedah Esq., directors and entire staff of the Ministry, I congratulate Kemasuode Wodu Esq.,on his recent conferment of the distinguished rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), by the
Legal Practitioners' Privileges Committee.
"This is a well deserved elevation and it is an acknowledgement of his laudable contributions to the development of the legal profession in Nigeria.
"The rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria is a privilege reserved primarily for distinguished advocates in full time legal practice and those who have contributed immensely to the development of the legal profession in Nigeria.
"Mr. Wodu is a courageous, dedicated and focused lawyer. His conferrement was not surprising to us.
As a former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice of our dear Bayelsa State, he excelled both as a legal practitioner and an administrator, contributing immensely to the growth and development of the Ministry and the State in general.
"We congratulate him on this milestone and wish him continous success in his exemplary career," the statement reads.
ACER recalls that Mr. Kemasuode Wodu Esq., was amongst the seventy-two senior lawyers who were recently conferred with the rank of SAN by the LPPC.
